Prêmio Eisner 2018 | Marcelo D'Salete ganha o Oscar dos Quadrinhos;

O Eisner Awards revelou na noite de sexta-feira, na San Diego Comic-Con, os ganhadores da mais renomada premiação de Histórias Quadrinhos dos Estados Unidos. O brasileiro Marcelo D'Salete levou o prêmio de Melhor Publicação Americana de um Material Estrangeiro com seu Cumbe. Os grandes ganhadores da noite foram My Favorite Thing is Monsters, que vai sair em outubro no Brasil pela Cia. das Letras com o título Minha Coisa Favorita é Monstro, e levou prêmios nas cinco categorias em que concorria, incluindo Melhor Álbum Gráfico Inédito, Melhor Escritor/Desenhista e Melhor Design de Publicação; e Monstress, obra de Marjorie Liu e Sana Takeda (lançada no Brasil pela Pixel), que também levou cinco troféus – incluindo Melhor Série, Melhor Roteirista, Melhor desenhista e Melhor Capista.

O Prêmio Bill Finger para Roteiro em Quadrinhos foi para Joye Murchison Kelly e Dorothy Woolfolk (póstumo), que trabalharam na Era de Ouro. 

O Prêmio Bob Clampett de Ajuda Humanitária foi para Frederick Joseph, que criou o Desafio Pantera Negra e ajudou a levar crianças do Harlem para o cinema assistir ao filme da Marvel. Em seu discurso de agradecimento, ele disse que este ano vai lançar o Desafio Capitã Marvel, para levar mulheres e meninas das associações com quem ele trabalha aos cinemas. Comics4Kids também ganhou o prêmio, pelo seu trabalho de doação de quadrinhos de segunda-mão para crianças. 

O Prêmio Espírito da Indústria foi para a Norma Comics, em Barcelona, na Espanha.
