A edição 2016 do Eisner Awards, o principal prêmio da indústria de quadrinhos dos EUA, anunciou os seus indicados. Fantagraphics e Image Comics lideram, com 17 indicações cada, puxados por HQs como a edição americana do clássico argentino O Eternauta e a série The Fade Out, de Ed Brubaker e Sean Phillips.
Outro número interessante é que 49 mulheres receberam 61 indicações (ante 44 no ano passado), um número recorde. As profissionais de quadrinhos estão presentes em 27 das 30 categorias - um dado interessante se comparado com a polêmica do suposto machismo do Festival de Angouléme.
O Brasil está presente em duas categorias, com Rafael Albuquerque na disputa dos desenhistas de capa e na nova categoria de "melhor adaptação de outra mídia", com o álbum Dois Irmãos, que Fábio Moon e Gabriel Bá criaram a partir do romance homônimo de Milton Hatoum.
Profissionais da indústria americana votam no Eisner, que é entregue tradicionalmente durante a Comic-Con de San Diego, que acontece entre 21 e 24 de julho neste ano. Conheça abaixo os indicados:
